This two-bedroom dormer bungalow is immediately endearing. There is a horse field opposite where Henry and Philip live, and our daughters love greeting them every day. This has been a very happy home for us in the first six years of our marriage.
The location couldn't be better - a quiet, scenic spot ten minutes’ walk from the lovely Chase Park, local library and shops. We are five minutes’ drive from the A1 and eight from the Metro Centre, and within the catchment area of the Whickham schools. Washingwell Community Primary School is 0.2 miles away and St Mary’s Roman Catholic Primary School is 0.3 miles away, making it ideal for those with young children.
Upon entering the property, the spacious hallway leads you through to the cosy living room which benefits from a south-facing bay window.
